Building Supports
I hope that your family had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break. It was shocking to return from the break with a few inches of snow; however, it was delightful to hear our student's joy-filled laughter and see their beautiful smiles.
Yesterday, I traveled across the state with a team of teachers to attend the Northwest PBIS conference. This year's conference theme is "Still Connected" and highlights the significant steps schools are taking to support one another, students, and families. Our team is seeking opportunities to enhance our district's student supports by developing tiered interventions. Additionally, we are looking to improve our restorative practices and build a better discipline system.
Educational Effectiveness-Family Survey
Within a school, there are certain practices and characteristics that affect student learning and the school's overall performance. To change or improve, it is first necessary to understand what is happening in your child's school and what students as well as parents/families are experiencing. Your feedback is important to provide the best possible education for your child.
Please complete Mary Walker's Educational Effectiveness-Family Survey.
This will take approximately 10 minutes.
Student Engagements
Spring sports are underway! It is wonderful to see students at nearly all levels of our school participating in afterschool opportunities. Students are partaking in the spiker volleyball camp, softball, baseball, and track! Additionally, we are planning earth day service activities and end-of-the-year field trips.
